Pappa & Zeke looking for pill bugs!Just a quick note, I hope to be posting pictures of the two weeks surrounding Ashlie's wedding in the next 24 hrs., followed by some of their wedding pictures. Things have been slowly calming down and we're getting back into a routine again. For those of you who are out of state just a quick up-date. I'm sure you've been hearing about all of the fires we've been having. It was a little un-nerving to know that Brian (who was hosting the wedding @ his house) and Dave Newquest, his captain (and our caterer for the wedding) we're both facing the possibility of being called out on one of these fires. We felt very blessed that they were not, and we didn't have any snags in that area. Since the wedding they have both been called and are out there now. Please remember them in your prayers along with Casey's grandmother's home in Concow. These fires are amazing, there is a constant smoke in the air and now the temp. is in the triple digits (109 yesterday & 110 for today)!! I thought I would post this picture of Papa and Zeke on one of what has became a common day with smoke. The yellow/orange cast is truly what the air is like. We have had very few days when we can see a blue sky! Please keep our love ones in your prayers.

That picture is great of Zeke and dad! I was going to ask how you did it, but then I read on... it's the lovely smoke! If you want to try and look on the bright side, it is great for pictures. We will keep everyone in our prayers. Keep us updated. We love you!
