Greetings From Ohio!!!

Surprise..........I am in Ohio spending time with Zeke, Sarah & Joe! Last Saturday I got a phone call from Corina Waterbury, she wanted to know if I would be interested in a roundtrip airline ticket that was about to expire...............do you think she really needed to ask?? Of course I jumped on the opprotunity to drop in for a visit!! I arrived here on Wednesday evening and will be leaving tomorrow, Saturday in the late afternoon. It's been a wonderful visit. Sarah has been showing me the sites of Ohio. Yesterday we went to the Candy Cane Christmas Tree Shop, I was able to get some of our yearly Christmas ornaments. Last night we visited Joe's parents. It's a beautiful place with lots of room! I loved all of her flowers. I have really enjoyed the row's and row's of corn everywhere! It's absolutly beautiful here! Of course it helps to be in the mid to low 80's! Today we did some more site seeing and visited some shops in the town of Grand Rapids. Tonight I am babysitting Zeke, while Sarah and Joe go with friends to a baseball game in Detroit. God is so good!! What a wonderful week this has been! A BIG THANK YOU to the Waterbury's!!

Getting Ready At The Home of David & Gail Ernstam

Gail and David Ernstam were very gracious in allowing Ashlie and all of her bridesmaides & flower girls to get ready in their home. Ashlie and Erika have been close friends since kindergarten. Their home was beautiful and made for a perfect setting!

The Grand Piano at the foot of the spiral stairs was simply beautiful!

The flowers were beautifully designed by Kevin at The Country Florist.

A Sister's Moment!

Mom feels very blessed to be a part of these very special girls lives!

The balcony

Sunglasses and attitudes, Sarah being the older one of the group had difficulty with the attitude part, not sure what that was suppose to look like!!

Auntie Ashlie wanting to join in on the shade.....

Having cousins is fun, having girl cousins opens a whole new world!

Let's share, o.k.?

Auntie Ashlie Playing Tag With Flower Girl, Mya

Auntie Ashlie started playing tag with Mya........it had been a long day for a Flower Girl!

I think Ashlie had as much fun as Mya did.

Leah Harris a friend of the family was there to capture these special moments for us.

Thanks Leah, you got so many, amazing shots!

From The Ernstam Home To The Wedding

We parked around the corner, then walked to the wedding site.

The black suit was quite warm, but Landon didn't want to take his jacket off!

Off we go.........we must have been a site to cars passing by!

A Pause While The Guest's Are Seated

While the guests were being seated, we had a Birdseye view from the neighbors front yard, while we sipped on Cold, Sparkling Cider.......Thanks Alexa!!

It was just like a Tea Party, with one gentlemen......

Let The Wedding Begin.......

Ashlie holds the Bible I carried in my wedding, Sarah carried it in her wedding, and now Ashlie will pass it on to Katelynne when her day arrives. We hope it will then start making it's rounds with the grandaughters.

Dad's first view of his, Little Girl!

A view taken through one of the window panes used for decorations, Danielle our photographer was great with the art of taking pictures!

Ashlie was telling Daddy, "Thanks for all you've done, I love you so much!".........Daddy had to tell her, "Not now honey, we won't make it down the isle, lets think funny thoughts"

The Flower Girls & Ringbearer

It's one thing to get all dressed up, pretty and handsome............

Another to stand in the middle of two cousins...............

And quite another, to walk down that long walkway.........I don't think so, thanks for your help Auntie Sarah!

The Ceremony

It's time for Dad to give his little girl away, to a wonderful young man!
It was a very special time to be able to have Joe, Sarah's husband perform the wedding. Ashlie, Matt, Joe and Sarah are quite close..............what a special memory for everyone!
The fans were a nice way to cool off, and pretty too! We told dad that we were going to e-bay the wedding items we didn't need after the wedding.......he loved the idea, wanted to know if we were going to sell the fans too..............us girls looked at him in wonder, ya dad we're going to ask for them back so we can sell them...............dad had a brief moment much like Steve Martin on "Father of the Bride" when he was in the store ripping open the hot dog buns........Steve Martin was thrown in jail after that...........we watched Loren close for a while!!!!

This Ring stuff is a bit exhausting.......

It's time for the rings........hmm the rings.......much to Matt & Ashlie's surprise.................

Landon, the Ringbearer had hiden the wedding rings in his favorite spot at Uncle Brian & Auntie Angela's house............the "Tree House"!

Sooooooooooo off he went, although his pants kept falling down and several of us got a glimps of "Thomas the Train" underware!!

O.k., he had to hang on to his pants, but he managed to get the rings!!

All in all they were still happily married!
