Going to Buffalo....via Chicago!

Tim, Casey, Landon and Claire left today to spend a week in Buffalo, New York with Matt, Jaime, Mya and Emily. I flew with them to Chicago because the plane loads are quite full and when the SWA employee travels with the passengers on buddy passes it bumps them up on the list to fly if the planes are too full. What a privilege for me to be able to be with Landon and Claire on their first plane ride! They were so much fun to watch and be with!

I must add that it was also fun as a parent to be with my son as I watched the cycle of life.........here he is trying to maneuver his family from the car to the shuttle to the terminal......with all of the luggage! It brought back soooooo many memories.........he reminded me so much of his dad!!

It was quickly decided that each man was on his own.............so, here's Landon carrying his own weight!

And away we go!

Landon was so excited to see a Southwest plane take off, right in the parking lot!

Once again..........time for the luggage....................and poor old dad in the background again trying to bring up the rear with more..........luggage!

Check-in time...........and time to rid some of that luggage weight!

Escalators can be fun................and scary too!

We must get through TSA with our boarding passes, children first!

I love the look on Landon and Claire's faces..........they took it all very seriously!

A quick bite to eat before getting on board.

Watching the men load their luggage on their plane and seeing the First Officer check-out the plane to make sure it was safe to fly. Landon loved every moment of it! Sooooo many questions!

Final check before boarding the plane! Landon can hardly wait!

Ok, it's time!

Is the plane really starting to move? (Landon was sooo funny.........he kept asking his mom to tighten his seat belt.......much tighter he would have passed out!

O.K...........we'll help out the flight attendants............they look a little tired..........Nana, Landon and Claire handed out the peanuts and pretzels................and of course they were loved by all!

Maybe a shoulder will help sleep to arrive.............

And off they go, their last flight before arriving in Buffalo! Nana said "good-bye" and went to the Flight Attendant Lounge to sleep before catching a plane back to Calif. in the morning! Thanks for a fun day guys! Luv u tons.............I know your going to have a blast! See u next week!
