HAPPY 75TH BIRTHDAY MOM!

What fun this was! On my day off last week I went through some old pictures that we were able to salvage from Mom & Dads flooded home in 1997. It was alot of fun seeing pictures of my Mom as a young girl growing up and then running across pictures I actually remember being taken of her when I was a little girl!

Mom was 3 yrs. old.
Loren & I were amazed when I showed him this picture. We both thought it looked like one of our grandchildren................can you guess who? Let us know who you think it is!!!

Mom's dad had a dark room and loved taking pictures, it was surprising how many pictures we found. I love looking at moms clothes!

Once again, who does this look like?

Many of the pictures show some water damage.........but we're grateful to have been able to save them.

Mom was the youngest girl in the family, followed by 3 brothers. Here she is with all of her sisters. I love the pantyhose!!!! Mom don't you think the dress was a little short?

The back of this picture said that mom was 9 yrs. old, right in between Hailey & Keagan's age. I see alot of my niece, Leandra in this picture.

This picture said 11yrs. old. I think my grandfather added the color to the picture, not sure though. The faint printing "Hutson Studio" in the background was my grandfather's. Mom's maiden name was Hutson.

Mom has always been very pretty! Dad was quite handsome too! OK John, what can you say about newborns!! You know I love you!! (I love their clothes!!!)

I remember this picture being taken as if it were yesterday! Mom was folding my dress after taking it off of the clothes line. It was our first visit to Marysville. We lived in Whittier Calif. at the time and Mom, Dad and us kids came to visit mom's childhood friend ( and distant cousin) Valda Perry. It was a year later we moved to San Jose, then the following year to Marysville. My memories of that trip were very special..............in a 1959 "Yellow" Mercury Station Wagon. Dad & Mom bought it "new"! Us kids loved it because we could climb in the back and stretch out..........while they were driving of course! No such thing as seat belts!

Mom's smile is forever a memory in my mind. This picture brings so many warm fuzzy memories of being a kid again!

Happy Birthday Mom! I hope your day was special!

Thanks for all of the memories,

I love you..........your daughter!

We're thinkng that our baby girl sure looks a lot like her great grandma in some of those pictures.

I saw a resemblance with Claire, but I see alot of Cody in her.
