Thanks, Cody!

When I came in from my trip on Thursday evening, Cody had prepared a wonderful dinner for us. Not only was it delicious, it also was low in calories and looked fantastic! Great job Cody, your quite the cook!

Cody often looks up recipes on the Internet and enjoys making them.

This past week was "Homecoming" @ Faith Christian High School. Cody's freshman class did a great job with decorating their section of the hallway. Their theme was based on the movie "7 Brides for 7 Brothers". They placed 3rd for the overall events of the week.

Thanks for Dinner, Matt & Ashlie

What a treat this week when Ashlie & Matt had Dad, Cody and I over for dinner on my day off. It was great to be able to visit and have someone else prepare the dinner. Thanks for the fun evening!

Another Beautiful Stay In Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is absolutely beautiful. The city is surrounded by mountains. When we landed it was snowing heavy, by afternoon it was clearing and I was able to go for a nice walk.

This the view out of the 6th floor of my hotel room. I had a balcony with a beautiful view!

Another view from the balcony.........

The mountains feel like you can touch them!

Views on my walk, some sidewalks weren't even cleared yet.

I love the houses.......

The sky is breaking up and the sun started peaking through

Sites Along The Way.........

I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I have enjoyed the views from an airplane. The past few weeks have had their ups and downs..............when I am sitting on "Ready Reserve", in a crashpad (a hotel room with as many as 5 0r 6 other girls) missing my family, I will be honest enough to say it can be very lonely and discouraging................but..........when I'm flying whether it's helping passengers, watching out for their safety or just seeing the country and God's beauty I am at my peak!! I love my new job, I just have to pay the price for my low seniority! All of the senior employee's I work with tell me to "hang in there, the first year is the most difficult, after that it's all worth it!" It's with those words of encouragement I am able to keep on going, knowing it will get better.

These pictures were taken over the Colorado Rockies...............wow!

Today when I was reading my devotions I ran across this quote and it reminded me of these pictures.............."God gave man breath. Then he took man's breath away with the beauty, grandeur, and eloquence of a universe of marvels created by His own hand." Dave Branon

On the ground in Denver, Colorado..........viewing the mountains we had just flown over!

The following pictures are on our way into Detroit, Michigan...........I had flown the same route when I went to visit Sarah, Joe & Zeke in November. I thought I would show you a comparison of Fall & Winter.

This is lake Erie, frozen

The land is on the left and the lake with ice cracking on the right!

Amazing huh!

You can see the islands surrounded by the icy waters.

The white around the islands is ice. Soooooooo amazing!

Once again the white is ice around the island.

This picture shows a ship cutting through the ice...............

You can see where the ship started.

I took this picture when I went to visit Sarah, Joe & Zeke in November..............

this is a picture of the same island taken in February.

Taken in November........................

taken in February!
I am so blessed to be able to see these amazing sites..............hope you enjoy them through the eye of my camera!

Surprise, Nana........

Knock, Knock Nana I'm here...........what a blessing! I had a three day trip this week with an overnight in Columbus, Ohio followed by Detroit Michigan. I mentioned to Sarah last week how disappointed I was to be so close to them and yet not able to see them. At the last minute Sarah had a early day with her Day Care kids, so Zeke & Sarah drove almost 2 hrs. one way to visit me. Zeke was so cute when he came to the door, as if to say "I'm here Nana!" We had a wonderful afternoon and evening shopping @ the Mall in Detroit and having dinner together! Thank you Sarah & Zeke..........this Nana so needed it!

After hiding behind mommy Zeke couldn't wait to see Nana's new house!

When Nana arrived in Detroit @ 1:30 pm it was 16 degrees outside. We have discovered you don't even walk to your car without your hat, gloves and scarf!

Zeke took Nana for a ride in his new car, because his other one went upside down!

Wow what a tire..........on our way to the Mall in Detroit

Are we there yet? I'm so tired of the car seat!

We also saw the Chrysler Headquarter

Nana & Zeke walk together, glad to be out of the car seat!

Oh Nana, boots!!!!!!

Zeke loves boots..............

especially yellow ones!

Snuggle time................Nana needed it more than Zeke!

Dinner is OK Nana, but the carousal is so cool!

So Nana did what Nana's do..........

give their grandsons their first ride!

At first it was a little scary...................

then it was lots of fun!

Priceless moment!

It's time to go so.....................let's bundle again!

In November when Nana visited i didn't like my gloves and hat.........

that was before it snowed!

Thanks Zeke & Sarah, this Nana had a wonderful time! Love you tons!
