Wedding Bells for the UPS Delivery

It's been so fun getting wedding gifts delivered almost every day now for a couple of weeks.........we thought we'd let the mail delivery personel know what they are delivering for.........it's all so much fun! Wedding bells on the front door!

Dad was busy trying to figure out how to hang oriental lanterns so Katelynne helped Ashlie learn how to walk down the isle in thier wedding shoes.

Four of Ashlie Bridesmaids were life long friends, so they took her out on the town for one last fling........ I could only imagine what the evening was going to be like as they drove away with lingerie hanging in the cadillac, and "Bachelorette Party" plastered on the windows.

Church at the Park

We've been attending River Valley Church some with Tim & Casey. On Sunday they had their services at the park in Sutter. Matt, Ashlie, Sarah & Zeke went with us. It was great to have so many of our kids in church service with us again!

Lunch @ Jeff's Place in Colusa. We got to know Jeff & Marge Donner when we attended church in Gridley. It's always fun to get a great old fashion lunch and visit.

Zeke & Claire's First Ice Cream Cone

After having lunch at Jeff's Place, Jeff gave the kids a complementary ice cream cone. This was a first for Zeke & Claire. The pictures say it all! Thanks Jeff for the memories!

The famouse "Tractor", this was at grandpa & grandma Johnsons house when all of our kids were growing up. It was made in the early 60's, can you believe it's almost 50 yrs. old!!!! The kids all still love to play with it!

Happy Fathers Day!

After reading everyone's blog and seeing what wonderful Fathers Day they had I have to admit that I really felt bad for Loren, this is what he did on his.........stood still like a statue so we could figure out how we were going to decorate for the reception! We do love you dear and we know that you have higher calling than this!!!!

Sometimes we used other people too...........what do you think? Do you have the feel? Can you imagine the look?

Then if that wasn't enough, Ashlie made him practice walking her down the isle.........poor guy! We all thought it was a Happy Fathers Day...........probably won't want to ask Loren though!

We call Claire our "Bow Baby", she has as many bows as Grandma has shoes! She's always making a fashion statement!

Zeke was always wanting to pick the flower on Claire's hair, then he'd let it go and it would snap her.............he thought it was quite cool, Calire got a little irritated!!

Zeke loves to swing on the swing his mommey and papa hung in the tree in the front yard 20 years ago. Papa usally pushes Nana and Zeke loves it!

Ashlie's Shower

Casey & Katelynne hosted a beautiful shower for Ashlie. There were about 35-40 friends and family that shared gifts, games, funny stories and alot of laughter. Ashlie's been a fun bride, full of excitement and gratitude. Casey and Katie went the extra mile and it made for a fun filled evening! Thanks again Casey & Katie (& Tim too, the yard looked great!)
