Tim, Casey, Landon and Claire left today to spend a week in Buffalo, New York with Matt, Jaime, Mya and Emily. I flew with them to Chicago because the plane loads are quite full and when the SWA employee travels with the passengers on buddy passes it bumps them up on the list to fly if the planes are too full. What a privilege for me to be able to be with Landon and Claire on their first plane ride! They were so much fun to watch and be with!
I must add that it was also fun as a parent to be with my son as I watched the cycle of life.........here he is trying to
maneuver his family from the car to the shuttle to the terminal......with all of the luggage! It brought back
soooooo many memories.........he reminded me so much of his dad!!
It was
quickly decided that each man was on his own.............so, here's L
andon carrying his own weight!
And away we go!
Landon was so excited to see a Southwest plane take off, right in the parking lot!
The shuttle ride...........are they excited or what?
Once again..........time for the luggage....................and poor old dad in the background again trying to bring up the rear with more..........luggage!

Check-in time...........and time to rid some of that luggage weight!
Escalators can be fun................and
scary too!

TSA with our boarding passes, children first!

A quick bite to eat before getting on board.
Watching the men load their luggage on their plane and seeing the First Officer check-out the plane to make sure it was safe to fly. Landon loved every moment of it!
